MEET OUR 2027 KEYNOTE SPEAKER
David Bennett
David Bennett is managing editor of HomeLife, the flagship magazine of Lifeway Christian Resources, and Open Windows, Lifeway’s longest running devotional. He is author of Critical Decisions: Clarity in the Journey (Serendipity House), co-author of Share Jesus Without Fear (LifeWay Press), a contributor for The Athlete’s Bible (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), and former curriculum writer for Chick-fil-A’s WinShape Camps. He and his wife have three daughters: Mary Claire, Caroline, and Sarah Kate, and a granddaughter, London Rose.
FACULTY APPOINTMENTS
Attendees will have a chance to sign up for 10-minute one-on-one appointments with industry professionals including keynote author David Bennett, who’s an executive at Lifeway.
Zoom appointments will be available with literary agents Tamela Hancock Murray and Lynette Eason, both of the Steve Laube Agency, and Rachel McRae, executive editor at Revell Books. We’ll also have in-person appointments with Gregg Bridgeman, editor-in-chief at Olivia Kimbrell Press; freelance editor Robyn Conley; audio book experts Gary Fearon and Karen Busler, as well as authors Tammie Polk, Becky Thomas, Eliot Parker, Kathy Cretsinger, Dianne Neal Matthews, and Harriet Michael
Those who attend the Saturday, March 20, conference may select up to two one-on-one appointments during registration. Appointments are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration increases the odds of getting the appointments you want.

Online registration for the 2027 Mid-South Conference will open in November. You may pay online via PayPal or by mail with a check. A complete day of training, will include Saturday lunch and the Friday night Meet & Greet
Saturday Workshops
Our 2027 conference will present opportunities for attendees to learn from top-notch professionals in the writing industry. Workshops will be led by more than a dozen authors, editors and agents.
Friday Workshops
Get the most from your MSCWC registration! These three-hour workshop intensives are held simultaneously, from 1 to 4 p.m., so those who register for Friday will be able to choose one of three classes for a modest additional fee.

Don’t miss the opportunity to network and fellowship with faculty and other conference attendees at our Friday night Meet and Greet. Enjoy light refreshments from 4 to 6 p.m. at Central Church. There is no charge for registered attendees and their guests. We’ll also have a brief orientation session for first-time attendees. It’s a must-do event!
