MEET OUR 2024 KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Katara Patton & Patricia Bradley

Katara Washington Patton is executive editor of VOICES Collection by Our Daily Bread Publishing, and the author of eight books, including 5-Minute Devotional Book for Women and Navigating the Blues: Where to Turn When Worry, Anxiety, or Depression Steal Your Hope.

She is also the author of a series of books on successful living based on Biblical characters. Successful Moms of the Bible, Successful Women of the Bible and Successful Leaders of the Bible have received many outstanding reviews and testimonies of how her down-to-earth and sometimes humorous style has piqued even more interest in the Bible. Her other books include: The Parables of Jesus Coloring Book Devotional, Joyous Advent, and Inspiration for Christian Teen Girls.

Katara has extensive editorial and acquisitions experience. She was named the 2014 Nonfiction Editor of the Year by the Advanced Writers and Speakers Association (AWSA).

The Deep South is the setting for the fifteen romantic suspense novels author Patricia Bradley has penned since her first release in 2014. In addition to being a USA Today Best-Selling author, she has won a Selah Award, a Reader’s Choice Award, and has garnered many other nominations, including the Carol and Daphne du Maurier awards.

Patricia Bradley has a heart for encouraging others, and she teaches writing workshops and has been the keynote speaker at several writing conferences. She and her two rescue cats call Northeast Mississippi home, and when she has time, she likes to throw mud on a wheel to see what happens.

FACULTY APPOINTMENTS

Attendees will have a chance to sign up for one-on-one appointments with an impressive list of industry professionals including literary agents Lynette Eason, Bethany Jett, and Julie Gwinn.

Other appointments are available with book launch expert Karen Sargent; editors Andrew Breeden, Kathy Cretsinger, Katara Patton, and Dell Self; fiction authors Johnnie Alexander, Patricia Bradley, Rhonda Dragomir, Loretta Eidson and Deborah Sprinkle; nonfiction writers Tammie Polk, Delores Topliff, and Lettie K. Whisman; children’s book author Jean Matthew Hall, and poet William Hill.

Besides one-on-one appointments, attendees will have opportunities for fellowship during the meal time, the Meet & Greet, and at the bookstore.

Online registration for the 2024 Mid-South Conference is closed, but the conference will still welcome walk-in registration. Please plan to pay with cash or check. Credit cards will not be accepted. Registration for a complete day of training only costs $105.
